Equipment For Industrial Applications
Elastec manufactures equipment for industrial applications. Our equipment is ideal for the removal of fats, oils, and grease from food processing plants, and recovering oils from steel mills, mines, and power generation plants. Our barriers and baffles can help keep water intakes for power plants, dams, and other industrial facilities free of floating debris. For general waste incineration, we offer the SmartAsh and MediBurn incinerators.
Floating Baffles
Floating baffles are flow control devices which increase the retention time in water treatment applications. Increased retention time creates a larger active area, improving efficiency and reducing the Total Suspended Solids (TSS). This improves overall water quality and assists in industry compliance with state and federal regulations for discharge and treatment of wastewater.
Floating Booms and Barriers
Since 1967, Elastec has manufactured floating booms and barriers through its acquisition of American Marine in Cocoa, Florida. We manufacture floating containment boom for oil spill response, floating trash, debris, and aquatic weed control. For storage, we offer a line of boom reels.
PACS 2000 Municipal Vacuum Trailer
The ELASTEC PACS 2000 is an extremely durable vacuum trailer system designed for municipal use. The center-mounted controls enable operation from both sides of the unit to keep workers away from traffic. The optional boom arm and water jetter allow for potholing and hydro-excavation jobs. Easy to tow and maneuver in congested work spaces, these rugged vacuum systems are purpose-built to clean up oil, liquids, solids, and sludge. Our trailer mounted vacuum systems are designed to go where large vacuum trucks can’t, and for jobs where vac trucks are not cost effective.
MiniVac Vacuum System
The Elastec MiniVac is a compact portable vacuum system designed for recovering liquids, oils and sludge with solids up to 2 inch / 50 mm diameter in remote or congested workspaces. MiniVac systems include a diesel or an electric engine, DrumIt drum-top head and suction wand. Optional Vacuum Hopper and All Terrain Vacuum tank for storage are also available. The MiniVac’s air-cooled blower generates free air flow of 435 cfm and a pulling vacuum of 332 cfm at 16 Hg.
DrumIt
The ELASTEC DrumIt is a drum filling vacuum head with an automatic shut-off setup. Simply connect the DrumIt to any vacuum source, such as a vacuum truck, to intercept liquids or solids in the drum (not included). MiniMax Oil Skimmer
The Elastec MiniMax is a robust and reliable drum oil skimmer designed for industrial and food oil processing applications. The standard skimmer frame is manufactured in High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), making it resistant to many chemicals found in lagoons, sumps, separators and oil pits. For food processing applications, the MiniMax can be manufactured with a stainless steel frame and drums for resistance to chemicals and high temperatures.
Hermit Oil Skimmer
The Elastec Hermit Oil Skimmer is designed to access tanks through roof or side manway openings with a minimum diameter of 20 in / 50 cm. Driven by an explosion-proof* air motor, the lightweight skimmer can work unattended recovering a variety of oil types. Supplied with an optional air-operated diaphragm pump, it recovers the oil with little water content.
SeaSkaterNP
The SeaSkaterNP self-adjusting weir skimmer represents a significant step forward in weir skimmer design. This skimmer is set up for an external suction pump or vacuum (supplied separately). Alternatively, the skimmer can be fitted with our ES400 hydraulically driven pump (optional extra). The skimming depth will self-adjust according to the suction rate. The suction is fitted with a trash screen within the weir assembly.
SmartAsh Incinerator
SmartAsh cyclonic barrel burner is an innovative portable incinerator that meets EPA requirements for burning non-hazardous refuse. Simply load a 55 gallon (208 liter) open-head steel drum, light the load and clamp on the lid. A whirlwind of fire and intense heat is created inside the drum, burning refuse without smoke or smell. Combustion is complete, leaving 3% ash.
Municipal Waste Incinerator
Elastec’s Municipal Waste Incinerators are environmentally safe, compact, and easy to operate. These systems are ideal for burning general waste, collected drugs from take-back programs, illegal drugs and paraphernalia, food waste, and trash.
