FOP 400 FLOATING OIL PUMP

Elastec manufactures the ES400 robust helical screw pump that is capable of handling a wide variety of liquids, the pump is typically matched with our oil skimmers.

To assist with offloading of oil collected by sweeping systems, the pump is now available in a floating frame that can be lowered into layers of concentrated oil. The frame facilitates adjustment of the depth of the pump in the water / oil layer by 15 inches / 380mm.

The FOP 400 (Floating Oil Pump), can be powered by our standard D22 diesel hydraulic power packs or other compatible hydraulic sources. The floating pontoon frame is made of marine grade aluminum, fitted with integral floats and lifting points with shackles. The tungsten carbide coated impeller and volute is coupled with a lightweight casing. This pump is able to generate high discharge pressure and flows. The unit is capable of  running dry and handling solids up to 1 ½ inch / 38 mm.

Designed with a new Helical Screw impeller, the ES400 has superior solids handling capabilities while maintaining high head pressure.
