MUNICIPAL WASTE INCINERATOR
Elastec’s Municipal Waste Incinerators are environmentally safe, compact, and easy to operate. These systems are ideal for burning general waste, collected drugs from take-back programs, biological evidence, illegal drugs and paraphernalia, biological waste, seized contraband, food waste, and trash. The units are suited for use in hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, blood banks, police departments, military bases, veterinary clinics, and airports. We also manufacture a drop-off box for drug take-back programs and offer a line of incinerator accessories. Read our FAQ. Fill out our questionnaire and tell us about your project.
HOW INCINERATION WORKS
Dual chambers eliminate solid waste in the bottom chamber and continue to burn ash and fumes in the top chamber. Modulating burners and under-air technology provide efficient burns and fuel savings. The electronic controls are easy to use and provide multi-language support.
The Municipal Waste Incinerator’s temperature of 1,000º C (1,832º F) burns approximately 44 to 110 lbs. (20 to 50 kgs) of material per hour. Its compact size and portability make the Municipal Waste Incinerator easy to install and convenient to move.

OPTIMAL LOCATIONS
Airports
Airports produce a lot of waste including international items that may need quarantined or require special disposal methods. Food items, hazardous waste and other general waste from jets and terminals can be destroyed on-site.
Municipalities
While most small towns and municipal agencies have general waste disposal methods, there are times when special care needs to be taken. Elastec incinerators provide a save and clean method to dispose of excess waste.
Police Agencies
Police agencies can utilize incinerators to dispose of confiscated narcotics, take-back drugs and waste from jails and prisons.

General Waste Incinerator Control Panel
The waste incinerator has been updated with a new control system with the following benefits and features:
- Touch Screen display with interactive controls and indicators. The multi-layered display shows temperatures (upper and lower burn chambers), timer and visual indicators of system performance (blowers, door lock, burners, burn time).
- Debugging functionality.
- Multi-language capabilities
- Data logging
- Older models can be upgraded.
- Available on the Mediburn 20 & 30
The electronic incinerator control system automatically goes through the burn cycle with minimal operator input. The upper chamber pre-heats before the waste is burnt. Automatic door locking feature for safe loading and unloading of ash. The control panel is used to control and monitor the operation of the incinerator. The display shows the temperature of the incineration gases in each chamber as well as the remaining time in the current incineration cycle. It also indicates when each diesel burner is in operation. The control panel will log all the information for retrieval as needed.
Drug Drop-Off Box
Elastec manufactures drug drop-off boxes that can be used in conjunction with either our Drug Terminator or General Waste Incinerators for take-back programs. The boxes can be set up at locations to collect expired and unused prescription drugs so that they can safely be incinerated. Our drug drop-off boxes can be painted or wrapped with graphics to suit the needs of your location. Each box has a lockable deposit door, retrieval door for emptying, and 4 bolt anchor holes in the base. Contact us for more information.
