PELICAN OIL SKIMMER
The ELASTEC Pelican oil skimmer (Specs) is a simple self-adjusting weir skimmer for inland waterways. The design incorporates a self-adjusting weir that pivots within a robust, lightweight floating frame. The skimmer has ASTM compliant boom connectors at the front. Coupling booms (optional extra) will increase the encounter, maximizing recovery rates. Fill out our questionnaire and tell us about your project.
The 3 inch suction connection is fitted with a standard Camlock coupling. The skimmer can be coupled to suitable suction pumps or vacuum trucks. This skimmer can be used in a stationary mode or connected containment boom in moving water.
The Pelican Skimmer automatically adjusts according to flow created by the external pump (optional extra). The skimming depth can be increased by a higher flow. Fill out our questionnaire and tell us about your project.
