GROOVED DRUM SKIMMERS

Grooved Drum technology for oil skimmers has been extensively tested by Ohmsett and researched by the University of California, Santa Barbara. Grooved Drum oil skimmers recover oil at a much higher rate than conventional smooth drum skimmers. The Grooved Drum option is offered for all models of Elastec oil skimmers with the exception of the MiniMax and Mini Skimmer. This oil skimming technology may be retrofitted to our existing skimmers.
