Trash Traps

The trash trap was custom designed to capture floating trash and debris that migrates along Rosewood Creek, a tributary of Sweetwater Branch. The facility was strategically placed and sized to capture large volumes of accumulated trash generated in the urbanized area upstream. It was also designed to provide adequate access for loaders and trucks for efficient material handling and disposal of trash and debris. The concept was adapted to site conditions based on successes by the City of Tallahassee in capturing the unwanted trash and debris.

Custom Bump Pads

Universal Studios needed a custom fabricated solution for their waterpark, Volcano Bay. Custom bump pads were developed by Elastec and installed in their river river’s islands. The pads help protect guests from bumping into concrete as they float along the path.
