Grooved Disc Technology

Elastec/American Marine has evolved our patented* Grooved Technology by applying it to a disc skimmer. This Grooved Disc Skimmer greatly increases recovery rates over traditional disc skimmers. During the Wendy Schmidt Oil Cleanup X CHALLENGE, Team Elastec/American Marine utilized this new technology to take 1st place in the competition by recovering 4,670 gallons of oil per minute with an efficiency of 89.5 percent!

The X150 model will be officially unveiled at the 2012 Interspill show in London, England.
