Popular Mechanics magazine released their annual list of 10 World-Changing Innovators for 2012. Among the list was our Grooved Disc Skimmer technology that received first place in the Wendy Schmidt Oil Cleanup X CHALLENGE.

We were excited to be awarded the Excellence in Environmental Technology Award issued by the Regional Clean Sea Organization. • Elastec/American Marine wins Wendy Schmidt Oil Cleanup X CHALLENGE
In late 2011, we won the Wendy Schmidt Oil Cleanup X CHALLENGE. An international competition that challenged teams to create a device that recover 2,500 gallons of oil per minute with an efficiency of 70% oil.
